from Times Past
The summer exhibit this year will be for the
"young at heart." It will consist of dollhouses, a barn, a
general store, children's furniture, carriages, etc.
One
unique item which has never been on display is an 1883 children's theatre
"Theatre Royal" complete with cardboard figures and scenery for
such plays as Cinderlla, Pocahontas, Blue Beard and the Battle of Bunker
Hill.
In addition, there will be
games, books, children's dishes, doll clothes and other treasures that
rarely see the light of the day. So come and celebrate the 50th
Anniversary of our Historical Society by enjoying a look at "toys
from times past."
