Blacksmith Shop

A fully functional blacksmith shop was found at a local farm within the town of Mattapoisett.  Most farms in the 1800's were similarly equipped.

The original forge for this shop was carefully disassembled and rebuilt in the Museum.  Everything on display is authentic from this time period in Mattapoisett's history.
