The Society offers the following activities for the members:


Walking Tour gets organized

Historical Walks - The Society organizes guided group walks around the historical sites within the Village of Mattapoisett periodically throughout the year.

Annual Christmas Open House - During the holiday season the Museum holds an open house with entertainment, refreshments and a tour of the facility.

Hammond Cemetery - Mattapoisett

Historic Cemetery Tours - The Society conducts guided tours of old burial grounds around the town.  Mattapoisett has seven very old cemeteries dating back to the 1700's. 

Special Museum Exhibits - During the summer months the Museum Exhibits Committee organizes unique displays depicting various aspects of life in and around Mattapoisett.  In addition, historical talks and children's programs are offered (see below).  .
